Stars of Bowness is a unique business. Built with the specific needs of Bowness-on-Windermere in mind.
After arriving here to work for a season in 2017, our founder, Laura, soon realised she had fallen in love with the place.
Within no time at all, the decision was made to build a permanent life here in this beautiful part of the world.
As we all know, employment is not hard to come by here, neither is inspiration....
After almost 6 years of living and working amongst the hustle and bustle, Laura decided to set up a company that offers some of the skills acquired here - and in life - over the years.
We want to be unique in that we offer tailored packages and do our best to suit all your needs.
If here at Stars, we can not accommodate your needs, we will do our best to find somebody local who can.

These are our services so far but do keep a look out as we intend to be adaptable as opportunities arise and new staff members join. Bear in mind that our list is not inclusive: if you cannot see what you are looking for, drop us a message and we will figure a solution.
We are confident in what we do so far and we are always open to and willing to consider taking on new challenges.
Our team undergoes consistent training and we are proud to work following the BICSc guidelines and regulations as we progress towards holding a corporate membership, once Stars of Bowness reaches its first birthday.
So far, our team consists of 2 full time members and several part time members whose skills and availability vary from kitchen porter up to restaurant/retail manager, breakfast chef through to silver service chef, general housekeeping up to 5 star service skills and much, much more.
We offer round the clock availability where possible and we work on a first come first served basis.
If we can - We will!
We consider no job too big or too small and we can assure you that if we do not have the skills or capability to assist you, we will exhaust all avenues to find somebody reliable who does!

Green Cleaning
In an effort to limit damage to the environment, we aim to have our staff members trained under the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI), which includes the latest methods and products of green cleaning available.
We offer green cleaning where possible and we are constantly striving to limit the amount of environmentally damaging products used here at Stars.
